Seatbelts

πŸš— SEATBELTS 🚘 beep beep

Sadly, I saw a dog die from being in the car when they were in a car accident and the dog was thrown forward. It was awful. If the dog has a seatbelt, maybe it would have been okay.

I don’t like the seatbelts that are on a zip line between the plastic hooks or attached to headrests. Those are not crash rated.
I do like the seatbelts that either snap into the actual seat belt buckle or that you put the seatbelt through their harness.
I just do a dirtbag set up and tie my dogs leash on a short leash to the metal weight loading part of my car. (Bottom right)

A picture of 4 harnesses to tie a dog into the car. The top left harness attaches to the headrest and has an X on it. The top right harness is a ruffwear harness that has a seatbelt loop. The bottom left is a harness that plugs into seatbelt buckle.
